I regularly hear from pastors about how our tools have made a real difference in their ministry. Now, we’re taking a big step forward to help churches do even more.
The Story So Far
When we started Sermon Shots, we had a simple goal: help churches turn their sermons into short clips for social media. In 2024, we grew that vision by adding new features. Churches can now turn their sermons into discussion guides, 5-day devotionals, blog posts, summaries, and quote images. This has helped churches save countless hours while reaching more people with their message.

But we knew we could do more to help churches spread their message. That’s why I’m excited to announce Sermon Shots Suite – a family of powerful tools that work great on their own but even better together.
Let me introduce you to what’s new right now:
Sermon Send
Think of this as a super-powered sermon library for your congregation. It takes all the great content made in Sermon Shots (like devotionals, summaries, and shareable clips) and puts it in one easy-to-use place. Your congregation can find everything they need to dive deeper into the sermon throughout the week.
Sermon Live
This is something special. Imagine if everyone in your church could hear the sermon in their own language – right as it’s being preached. Sermon Live makes this possible. It can translate your sermon in real time, both in writing and audio. Even better, after the service, it can create a video of your sermon in other languages, complete with matched lip movements. It looks and sounds natural as if you’re speaking that language yourself.
And there’s more to come! While we can’t share all the details just yet, we’re working on another exciting addition to the Sermon Shots Suite family that will launch in 2025. Like everything we do, it’s focused on our core mission of making sermons more impactful.
Why We’re Making This Move
Some might wonder why we’re growing in new directions when Sermon Shots has been so successful. Here’s the simple truth: we’re not stepping away from what works – we’re building on it. Our team has grown to 25 talented individuals, each bringing unique skills and passion to our mission. We’re hiring new people for these new projects while keeping our current team focused on making Sermon Shots even better.

Everything we do at Sermon Shots Suite comes back to one mission: “making sermons more impactful.” While we use AI and other new technology, we only use them when they truly help churches. We’re not just using fancy tech for its sake.

This deep well of experience has taught us what it takes to create tools that truly serve our users’ needs. We’ve built and scaled multiple successful software platforms over the years, and Sermon Shots is the latest chapter in that story.
Our track record of creating reliable, user-friendly software that churches love and trust isn’t just about the last three years – it’s built on years of experience in understanding user needs, solving complex problems, and delivering solutions that work. While we tried to form partnerships with other companies to make these tools, we found that building them ourselves would let us serve churches better, drawing on our years of software development expertise.
